Performances
So, you’ve created your artist profile… now it’s time to let your fans know when, where and how they can support you at your next gig! You can stream live from your living room, stream live from the local venue, or invite your fans to an in-person gig!
Not only can you have your fans support you and your work, but they can also support a nonprofit organization of your choice! Just design your performance to split your tips and feel good about giving back! Fans will be able to send you custom notes to ask you to play their favorite classic hit or one of your best original songs! PJ allows you to directly connect with your fans during your performance!
Your profile page is your tool to manage all of your bands and solo performances in real time!
- Open the PickleJar app and make sure you’re on your artist profile page.
- Click the “Add Performance” button.
- Next, indicate if the performance is at a specific location, being livestreamed, or both.
PHYSICAL LOCATION:
- If at a physical location, the next step is to search the app for the venue you will be performing at. The venue must be in our database in order to link your performance to it.
- Once you select the venue, you will then have the option to give your performance a name, start date/time and end date/time.
- Hit “Save”.
- Next, select how fans can access your performance. You can choose from: Free, Cover Charge, Entry Fee, Ticket, VIP Only, Private, Special Access or PickCoin Rewards.
- If a fee is involved (i.e., cover charge, entry fee, ticket, special access, etc.), then you will be prompted to give an amount in USD.
- Next, you have the option to add a beneficiary to split your performance tips with. Search from our large database of verified nonprofits, easily add one to your performance, and select the percentage of tips you wish to share with them.
- You will then select which of your custom notes to include during the performance. You can always go back and add/change these prior to going on stage.
- Now, tell your fans! Enter a message and your fans will be notified that you’ve just added a performance.
- Last, choose your preferred payment button, which is what fans will click on to send money while you’re on stage. You have the option to choose from the default “Tip Now!” or our other alternatives: “Buy Now!”, “Support Now!”, “Give Now!”, “Request Now!”, “Donate Now!”, “Vote Now!” or “Pay Now!”.
- If you need to go back and delete or edit a published performance, just go to the performance on your profile page and hit the pencil button in the top right corner to edit. From there, click on the 3-dot button in the top right corner to see the available options.
LIVESTREAM ONLY:
- If your performance is only being livestreamed, you will first give your performance a name, start time and end time.
